Malcolm "Sonny" Wadsworth

WADSWORTH, Malcolm S. “Sonny”, 77, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Friday, May 13, 2011 at his residence after an extended illness. Survivors include his wife, Sally G. Wadsworth; five children, Sandy Wadsworth (Dena), Cindy W. Lollar (Chip), Beth W. Phillips (David), Sharon W. Lee (Tim) and Sherry L. Wadsworth; one brother, Jerry Wadsworth (Brenda); 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and former employees. Mr. Wadsworth was a longtime Montgomery businessman, owner of Wadsworth-Phillips Contractors, Inc. and was a member of the Georgia Road Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Monday May 16 at 2:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel with Minister Kenneth Randolph, Beau Greer and Minister David Phillips officiating. A private family burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Georgia Road Church of Christ Mission Fund, 4875 Georgia Rd., Wetumpka, AL 36092.
