Mrs. Marianne Sterling, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Baptist South Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents: Gunter Michael Kamm and Irene Handler. She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Robert Sterling. She is also survived by her children: Sheldon Sterling (Michelle) and Eric Sterling (Jill), four grandchildren: Sarah Sterling, Scott Sterling, Brian Sterling and Marcy Sterling. Mrs. Sterling loved baseball, reading and watching Wheel of Fortune and soap operas. She was a loving wife to Robert, loving mother to Eric and Sheldon, loving grandmother to Sarah, Scott, Brian and Marcy and a loving mother-in-law to Michelle and Jill. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 1:00-2:00PM in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home located at 909 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, Al. 36109 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00PM. A Committal Service will follow the Celebration of Life Service in Greenwood Cemetery.
