Marie Alice Dismukes

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Marie Dismukes, Grandson, Michael (Kim) Goodman and great grandsons Matthew Goodman and Jeremy Berry. After her sister Glenice's death, at a young age, Marie and Houston took her children Naomi Reynolds Moses and Daniel (Kim) Reynolds as their own.

She is also survived by her sister, Minnie Ruth Nichols Dismukes, Brothers: John Hayward (Eloise) Nichols and Charles Robert (Nellie Vee) Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel Gerther Nichols and Naomi Grimes Nichols. Brothers: Harold J. Nichols, Dewey Nichols and her sister Glenice Nichols.

Funeral Services will be held at First Assembly of God on Bell Road at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 with visitation at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Johnny Jones and Rev. Gregory Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Marie was a member of First Assembly for 63 years.
