The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on March 24, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel. Rev. Gary Burton will be officiating. The family invites friends to the visitation which will be held from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on March 24, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel.
She was born in Northport, Alabama on April 16, 1927. She attended Sidney Lanier High School and worked for Gayfer’s Department Store for 15 years.
Marjorie was married to James K. Cooper on August 15, 1947. They were married 45 years until his death in 1992.
Marjorie is survived by 4 sons, Darrell, Terry, Ronnie and Donnie Cooper; 3 Daughters In-Law, Dixie, Angela, and Valerie Cooper; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson, and other family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Leak Memory Chapel.
