Marjorie Nell Saucer

Marjorie Nell Saucer, 86, of Montgomery, AL, joined her Lord and Savior, and husband of 51 years, Julius, on February 23, 2018. She is survived by her two children, Brenda Nickelson (Mark) and Dr. Glenn Saucer (Laura); three grandchildren, Alicia Nickelson, Benjamin Saucer, Rachael Saucer Gallagher (Tim); and one great-granddaughter, Kate Gallagher. She is also survived by her brother, Lenwood Smith (Elizabeth).

Nell retired from the Discipleship Training Division of the Alabama State Board of Missions then served part-time at First Baptist Church Montgomery, while enjoying traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and engaging in various crafts and hobbies.

The family sincerely thanks Elmcroft, Hospice of Montgomery, and her many caregivers during her 11-year residence in assisted living.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel with a visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM. A family graveside service will take place at Sunrise Memorial Park in Nell's hometown of Greenville, AL.

The family requests donations to Hospice of Montgomery, the Jackson Hospital Foundation, or First Baptist Church Montgomery in lieu of flowers.
