Mark Kenton Poole, of Montgomery, Alabama, died at the age of 63 on February 13, 2021. Mark was born on November 4, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama to Clifton W. Poole, Jr. and Margaret S. Poole.
He was a graduate of Auburn University where he earned his Finance Degree and was very proud to be an Auburn Tiger! Mark received his Alabama Real Estate Commission License and was employed by Montgomery Metro Realty.
A lifelong Christian, Mark’s family is comforted in knowing he is at peace in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, among many family members and friends who arrived there before him. He was widely known and respected as a good man, a family man, and a man who walked closely with God. Mark was a member of First Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. He was the loving husband of Libby Poole. They would have celebrated their 33rd anniversary on March 12, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Kenton Poole, Bill Davidson and wife Kellie of Daphne, Alabama, Matt Davidson and wife Maureen of Atlanta, Georgia and baby boy expected in May 2021, sister, Cheri Jewell, and brother, Colby Poole. He was the proud grandfather of William, Hannah, and Emily Davidson and cherished his time with them. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Becky Early of Topsail Beach, NC, and Uncle James Jones and Aunt Janelle of Andalusia, AL. Mark was loved by many nieces and nephews, Eric, Kenny, and Jason Jewell, Katie Early Laymon and Joe Early who will forever miss his fun-loving personality. More than anything, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. He cherished every moment spent with his wife, his three children and grandchildren and was so proud of them all.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, no service is planned for the public at this time; however, a Celebration of Life Service can hopefully take place in 2021.
