Marshall Elizabeth Dawson, 81, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from brain cancer. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Ms. Dawson was preceded in death by her mother Charity Cobb Chumley and her brother Robert (Bobby) E. Chumley. Survivors are her husband of 63 years Lawrence F. Dawson, sons Lawrence (Larry) Dawson, Mark Dawson and granddaughter Ally Hamilton. Pallbearers will be Randy Chumley, Larry Chumley, Tim Chumley, Walter Chumley, Mitch Dawson and Randy Hooks.
Visitation will be today, Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1 PM at Leak Memory. A graveside service will be held following visitation at 2 PM in Greenwood Cemetery, with Kline Johnson officiating.
