Martha Meriwether is preceded in death by her husband Seelye Meriwether, Jr., her parents Chuyler and Lucille Freeman, her brother’s Buddy Freeman (Beverly) and Joe Freeman. She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Dukes (Jim) and Margaret Ann Carr (Skippy). Also survived by her sons Nick Meriwether (Kelly), Mark Meriwether (Sandy), and her grandchildren Hunter Meriwether (Ashley), Sam Meriwether (Sarah), Kathryn Meriwether, Slade Meriwether (Erica) and Seth Meriwether. Poops was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, seamstress and cook. A mom to so many people that loved and adored her.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Meriwether, Sam Meriwether, Slade Meriwether, Seth Meriwether, John Scott and Wilson Scott.
