Ann Wells (Martha Ann Douglas) went home to be with her Lord on August 23, 2017, where her loving husband, Gene, was there to meet her. She will be deeply missed by her children, Wanda Ellis (Mike) and Howard Wells (Jill); 5 wonderful granddaughters, Amanda Allen (Carl), Gracie Wells, Sarah Ellis, Claire Wells, and Aubrie Wells; and one very special great granddaughter, Kinsley Allen. Ann also leaves behind multiple family members; special friends, Kay, Stella, and Bonnie; her lunch and movie partner, Patsy; and her faithful companion, Harry Winston. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 27 at 1:00pm, with Services following at 2 at Leak Memory. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Jackson Hospital CCU for their love and compassion shown to her and the family during her stay. Flowers or donations to Eastern Hills Baptist Church will be welcomed.
