Marvin L. Fisher, 81, a resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. He was born in Hendricks County, IN and served in the U.S. Army and Air Force for 21 years. He graduated from TSUM with a Master’s degree in Education, and then completed 10 years of civil service work at the Maxwell AFB Historical Research Agency. He was a loving husband to his wife of 53 years, Dorris Fisher, and a devoted father to four children, Pamela Ward, Elizabeth A. Fisher, Jon T. Fisher and Daniel L. Fisher. The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20 from 5-7 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. The funeral service with full military honors will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Leak-Memory Chapel officiated by Rev. Warren Culver of Capitol Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
