Marvin Benton Robinson

Montgomery – Marvin Benton Robinson, age 80, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was preceded by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Kay (Goldman) Robinson; his parents Joseph Carl and Lila Robinson; his sisters Lila Carlene and Laura Robinson; along with his brother, Joseph Carlton Robinson. He is survived by his son, Craig (Jessica) Robinson; his daughters Jennifer (John) Jackson, and Karen (Derrel) Barker; as well as four grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Fairfield High School, class of ’63, and an active member of Frazer Free Methodist Church for 43 years.

He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, during which time he and his family enjoyed extensive travel before his retirement in 1986. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. The Reverend Neil Eppler will officiate. Burial service will be held at Montevallo National Cemetery on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:45 AM.
