Mary Jo Clark

CLARK, Mary Jo (Josephine) Harris, 83, a resident of Montgomery, AL and formerly of West Point, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2011 after an extended illness. Mary Jo was born on Feb. 28, 1928 in West Point, GA to William Gay and Mary Ludie Harp Harris. She was preceded in death both, as well as her husband Rudolph Clark, her son Steve Clark, her brother Leon Harris and son-in-law Ed Jones. She is survived by her daughter Carol Clark Jones of Montgomery, AL and a precious grandpuppy Cici Jones, a granddaughter Sherry Clark (Seth Morgan), great granddaughter Adyson Grace Clark Morgan all of Lanett, AL. She is also survived by four other grandchildren, Chris (Denise) Clark, Kate Clark Pruitt, Brian Clark and Mark Clark and a number of great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Sara Harris of LaGrange, GA and her children, brother and sister-in-law Edwin and Dena Clark of Prattville, AL and their children and brother and sister-in-law Charles and Mary Clark of Lanett, AL and their children and a host of other family members. Visitation at Leak Memory Chapel will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:30am for one hour with burial to follow immediate at 12:30pm in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Tucker of Alacare Hospice officiating. The family wishes to thank her caregivers Marsha Jackson, Neky Jackson, Patricia Darrington and Cassandra White for their wonderful and loving care. You all are a gift from God.
