Mary Elizabeth Dennis

Elizabeth Dennis, age 87 of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 12:45pm on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Leak Memory Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Evans and Chaplain Mark Springer. Mrs. Dennis is survived by her son, Thomas Dennis (Karen); her daughter, Susan Dennis Conley; her brother, Bill Dunn (Gene); her sister, Marjorie Ruth Dunn; three grandchildren, Heather Dennis Burge (Jason), Emma Conley and Clay Conley; and one great-grandchild, Joseph Blake Burge. Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norman Dennis. She was a member of Dalraida Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Downtown Opti-Mrs. Club and volunteered at Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Dennis was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
