Mary Frances Watson Bohn Agerton, age 102, departed this life on Sunday morning, October 28, 2018. She is now with her heavenly father and at peace. She was born at Barnett Crossroads in South Alabama. She taught school in Flomaton, Alabama and then in Montgomery, Alabama, retiring after 30 years. She was a long time member of Druid Hills Church of Christ and then Vaughn Park Church of Christ after Druid Hills merged with Lakewood to form Vaughn Park. For many years, she could be found at the church weekly filing the communion cups for the Sunday service. Frances, known lovingly as Nanny to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a strong Christian woman who was known for her independence and resolve. She was still driving her camper and planting a garden by herself, even into her nineties. She also enjoyed sewing, cross stitching and cooking. Most importantly, she loved the Lord with all her heart and it truly radiated from her in her service to others, and her church and the love she showed her family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John W. Bohn, and her second husband, Marvlin F. Agerton; father and mother, Will F. Watson and Willie Barnett Watson; brothers, Albert W. Watson, Elvie W. Watson, Alton C. Watson and Horace H. Watson; sisters, Ola W. Mason, Eula (Polly) Watson; son, Wayne Agerton; daughter Betty A. Vinson; and son in law, Laymon Vinson.

Bohn (Geraldine), and Marvlin (Benny) Agerton (Linda); grandchildren, Cara Bohn Casey (Warren), Anna Bohn Ward (Brian), Darryn Vinson(Gervaise); Kevin Vinson (Cyndee), Ben Agerton and Abby Agerton; great grandchildren, Lauren Vinson, Emily Vinson, Avery Vinson, Hayden Ward, Tucker Ward, Ava Casey and Grant Casey; and many nieces and nephews.
