It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mary Louise Hamrysak on May 25th, 2026, in Montgomery, Alabama. Mary was born in Dozier, Alabama, to Hugh and Hazel Screws. She attended Lanier High School in Montgomery. She returned to college later in life, studied geriatrics, and graduated in 1993. She became an ombudsman in California and also later in Alabama. Her interests include crafting, painting and her beloved dogs. Mary is survived by two sons Ricky and Sean, two daughters Tammy and Tanya, one sister Ann, one brother Danny, grandchildren and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Hamrysak and will be buried with him at Fort Mitchell Cemetery. A private family celebration of life will be held.
