Hannah Family:

Your parents played such a critical role in the twentieth-century development of the Montgomery Baptist Association.  

Your mom was one of the key leaders of the MBA program in Conversational English. In the early 1990s, your dad led the MBA to transition from its Hull Street location to a "state-of-the-art" facility in Interstate Park. This transition would not have been possible without his visionary gift, attention to detail, and vast network throughout our River Region community. We will forever cherish the memories of their ministry of encouragement to our community. 

Know of my continued prayers for each of you. I join the saints in looking forward to the day when God calls us all home to be with Him.

We remember your parents very well from many years ago at First Baptist Church Leeds.  I remember Gene would lead the Carol Choir(teenage girls) on Wednesday or Sunday afternoons.  Mary Anne was always very active in the WMU  and every aspect of the church. There wasn't a thing that she could not do -- even starting a stubborn 1958 Chevy from under the hood.  

Gene helped Milton thru some very difficult times in the 1950's and 1960's of which I(Don)am eternally grateful.

Wish that we had more couples like the Hannahs who gave of their time, service, laughter, leadership to the kingdom of God.  

You have been blessed by a wonderful mother and father. Our prayers are with you.

When Gene and Dave were sick, we met with Jane Ferguson on Thursday mornings while our men met with Judy to have fun. It was Mary Ann who had talked with me every Thursday as we taught CE together, who asked for this. We had fun together while our men had a great experience with Judy.  So glad Mary Ann was able to share this time with all who were caregivers.  We all loved her.

So sorry about the loss of your precious Mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
