

Mary Kaye was preceded in death by her father, Gary M. Taylor, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Green. She is survived by her mother, Martha L. Little, her son, John Morgan Longshore, Jr., who was the joy of her life, and his sisters, Georgia Katterjohn Longshore of Washington, D.C. and Lucile Longshore Vogtle (Hays) of Birmingham, AL.
Mary Kaye cherished spending time with her son and his friends, and making memories with her closest friends. She was known for the warmth she shared with those she loved and for the meaningful, fun experiences she had with others throughout her life.
A proud University of Alabama alumni, Mary Kaye was also a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical sales for many years, where she especially valued those, she worked with throughout the years.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give to a charity of your choice. A fund has been set up to benefit John Morgan Longshore, Jr., at River Bank & Trust as well. You can visit any location in the River Region to contribute.
Mary Kaye will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.
