Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George Samuel and Mary “Ouida” Langston; her son, Tommy Ray Smith; and her sister, Ruth Alice Smith.
She is survived by her children, Sammy Smith, Danny (Karren) Smith, and Kelly (Russell) Hutto; 5 grandchildren, Brandon (Jayne) Burns, Tracy Horton, Jeremy (Blythe) Smith, Jason Smith, Josh Smith, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and special niece Rhonda Smith and special nephew Randy Smith.
Mary loved going to bingo with her friends and watching Westerns on TV. She worked as a machine operator before retiring and going on to work at the laundromat. She was a people person and enjoyed spending time with her community.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
