Mary Ruth Wilson

Mary Ruth Wilson (Goodson), born on August 20, 1940, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 85. Mary was a resident of Montgomery, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse M Goodson and Lilian B Goodson; her brothers, John Goodson (Hazel), Howard Goodson, Ralph Goodson (Julia), Clarence Goodson, Ernest Goodson, and Lawrence Goodson; and her son, Bobby Thrash. She is survived by her son, Michael W Thrash; her daughters, Renee Clements (Brian) and Tracey Arnold (Troy); and her grandchildren, Lindsey Donaldson (Adam), Ashley Vaughn (Jesse), Morgan Jennings (Chris), Mary Kate Partin, Mackenzie Bowdoin (Hunter), Blayne Battaglia, Stacey Motley, Justin Thrash, and Tyler Thrash; her many great grandchildren and her sister-in-laws, Gloria (Howard), Ann (Clarence), Annette (Ernest), and Barbara (Lawrence); along with her dogs she loved so deeply, Hannah, Winston, Myles, and Oscar.

Mary was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, on December 27, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 2:00 pm with a graveside service following at Greenwood Cemetery 909 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL 36109.
