Maurice Edwin Lee

Maurice was born in Clanton, Alabama to Carl & Jewel Lee. He was the oldest of 3 children. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1954.

He worked for HL Greens for over 20 years where he met the love of his life Loette. In addition, he owned several service stations in the city where he and his father in law helped many travelers with directions, car service, home cooked meals, as well as shared their faith, and prayed for safe travels. He volunteered many years with Meals on Wheels. He was an avid sports fan and loved Alabama football. He could give you stats from the 40’s to current stats of all players.

Maurice was a long time resident of Montgomery with a servant heart for his faith, family, friends, Frazer Church, and the Roy Cox Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Edna Foy Alston and brother Lester Lee.

He is survived by his son Kevin and daughter-in -law Missy Lee, grandchildren, Caroline, Will & Sam Lee and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, February 5, 2025 at Frazer Chapel, 6000 Atlanta Highway Montgomery, AL. A celebration of life service to follow.
