Michael Daley Crew

Michael Daley Crew (Mike), 64, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 after suffering a profound illness. He is survived by his wife, Amy Crew, four children; Amanda, Jesse, Caleb, and Jacob, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Brad Crew and sister-in-law, Mary Frank, two sisters, Barbara Headley and Linda Walker. He is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Craig and Carol Boyd and Danny and Fay Burton along with several nephews and nieces. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Crew and Ruby Nell Headley and one brother, Charles. His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, Alabama football and spending time with family. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with special friends; Ray Barron, Chris Cooley, and Jim Smith. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a dear friend to many. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with visitation from 10:45-11:45 a. m. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. Pastor Randal Mims will be officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Mac Crew, Mike Crew, Major Boyd, Ray Barron, Jim Smith and Craig Boyd.
