Growing up I did not live near by Michael, but even with the distance there was never any awkward moments...we were cousins and I always felt loved in his presence. There was a huge age gap, fortunately I gained alot of wisdom from both Michael and Riley 💖 I remember the first time I visited Alabama, after having my first daughter. As we were getting ready to leave to meet the rest of our family at dinner, I told Michael that I was nervous at how our family would react to me having a child out of wedlock, and was biracial. He gave me thus look of concern and question, and responded "Honey, who cares what anyone thinks?! If you've got people talking about you than you're doing something right. Keep your head up, stay strong and believe in YOU." I never told him how much that conversation meant to me, but I know he knows it gave me the courage to stay strong. Michael truly was one of a kind, he was that person in a room that would make sure every single person left smiling. I love him, and he will truly be missed. 😇

I met Michael through Youth Ministry and volunteering years ago. I will never forget how hard the two of us laughed, and laughed, and laughed. He had the best laugh. He was so funny and so sweet. I know that he will be missed. My condolences go to his family and everyone who knew him.

I remember coming over to help Andrew with a school project and I met Mike. He was very nice and very talkative. He will be missed. Love you all! 

Michael was a ray of sunshine wherever he would go.  His face was full of life.  He always had me laughing.  He was such a joy to be around.  I feel so very fortunate to have been able to share wonderful memories with him.

My heart is so broken after receiving the news of the loss of this sweet friend :-( :-( Michael was Forever The Best of the Best :-) I met him at Highland Gardens Community Center when him and Miss Ginger Bryant we're working there together in the after-school program and my son Eric folmar was going there and you could never in a million years ask for a better person to leave your kids with in an after-school program :-) they were very caregiving loving sweet honest people and Michael always had a smile on his face and a big hearty laugh and a good joke and he was just so much fun to be around :-) we had some really really good times Growing Up in Highland Gardens with him at that Community Center and my son will forever be so grateful to him as I will also :-) I never had a minute's doubt that my son was not in good care when he was with Michael and Miss Ginger :-) Michael was a very loving caring person and he will forever be missed by so many in that community that came to that Community Center and all the surrounding areas from Highland Gardens down to Chisholm ball field Michael was always there with his loving support :-) rest in peace sweet friend and fly high with the angels and sing high on that mountain love and miss you so much :-)

When Michael was just a baby, his mother would leave him with me and my sister.  As soon as his Mother would leave he would start crying and holding his breath.  But as soon as she came him he stopped crying.   He scared us to death.  He loved His family so much.  We loved him.

Mike was such a good man. As a child he was always funny and in such a good mood .  He always had a smile on his face and a joke.  As a teenager he wanted to help with kids at the community Center and he was loved by all.  While working at the senior center he always had them laughing and he was like family to them.  You could always count on Mike in any situation for a laugh or chipping in money.  He was such a good nephew and friend. He will be surely missed.  RIP Mike

Margaret I'm so sorry.  I can't imagine this kind of loss.  I wish I had met Michael. Hope you can feel the Lord's arms around you carrying you through this time of grief.

He was and will always be a big brother to me!! I know he is in Heaven rejoicing with God! Love you Maggie and my thoughts and prayers are with you. 

Michael better known as Mr.Mike to me and my kids. He was very instrumental in helping me raise my crew. He always made sure they had what they needed even if i didn't have it. When i got paid and tried to pay him he would say no these my kids too.  He was a very humble man and gave his all to all the kids who crossed his path. He will be truly missed.

I have missed Michael's humor, his staring looks, and sweet smile for the last four years.  He has been hurting, with crohn's, so much and it has taken all those joys away.  He finally has relief from the pain and will be missed more than you will ever know.  I have enjoyed hearing the stories how crazy and funny he use to be.  He can run and joke with everyone in heaven now.  Anytime we would go out, there would be someone who knows Michael.   By the time I get to heaven, it will be the same way.  He never met a stranger.  He is missed and loved by so many.

So sorry to hear about Mike’s untimely passing. He was way too young to leave this earth, but God had a different plan. I know you will miss him dearly.

Mike was one of best man in the world. He was there at the community center at Highland Gardens when my twin boy's went there. He was the best to them he always watched over them. He was such a big help. He will be missed.GOD Bless his family during this difficult time 🙏🙏🙏🙏.
