Michael B. Sullivan

Sullivan, Col. Michael B., age 66, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. Mr. Sullivan was a retired Alabama State Trooper. He was born November 30, 1945 to L.B. and Josie Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marker Sullivan; two sons, Michael Christian Sullivan, Joseph Adam Sullivan; step-children, Gina Petrey Fiala, David Andrew Petrey, Forrest J. Petrey; a brother, Gary R. Sullivan; sister, Sharon (Thomas E.) Mesaris; sisiter-in-law, Andrea Marker Postma of Theodore, Alabama; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Ayla Chastain. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Dr. Roland McMillian officitaing. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Donations can be made to MARC, 527 Buckingham Dr., Montgomery, Alabama 36116, in memory of Mike. Serving as pallbearers will be the State Trooper Honor Guard.
