Michael L. (Mickey) Thomas passed away August 4, 2013 at the age of 72 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Reelon Thomas. Mickey is survived by one brother, Herb (Rose) Thomas of Virginia; one special and devoted uncle, Dave Jones of Vinemont, AL; and cousin, Joseph Jones of Vinemont, AL. Mickey had more friends than you could count and he valued each and every one of them. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 10:00am to 11:00am at White Chapel Funeral Home, with Graveside services following at 11:30 at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with Bill Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vaughn Park Church of Christ Family Care Ministry.
