He is survived by his significant other, Donna Bizzle; his children, Shannon Waters, Michael J. Waters, and Karen J. Patterson; five grandchildren, Sloane Patterson, Devynn Batiz (Jadon), Michael D. Waters, Michael Fabian Waters, and Easton Waters; one great grandchild, Waylynn Autumn Batiz; a sister, Patt London and a brother, K.J. (Jamie) Johnston.
Friends and family are encouraged to attend the visitation which will be held Thursday, December 10 from 6-8 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing sadly will be strictly enforced. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be a private burial with full military honors in the Alabama National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion in his honor.
