Mildred Tate Phillips, 93, of Montgomery Alabama, passed away on February 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, prior to his death on June 28, 2008; and her daughter, Katie Jane Lankford. She is survived by her son, Dewey Edwin Phillips, Jr.; daughter -in – law Karen Harrelson Phillips; four Grandsons, Andrew Lankford (Whitney), Tyler Lankford, Brett Lankford (Claire), and Dewey Phillips; one granddaughter, Blair Phillips; and great-grandchild, Avery Lankford.
Mildred was an active, long time member of Dalraida Baptist Church and retired bookkeeper from Mutual of Omaha in 1987.
Visitation will be held at Dalraida Baptist Church, Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with a celebration of life at 2:00pm at Dalraida Baptist Church and Burial to follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and with special thanks, a donation may be made to Belmont Assisted Living, Montgomery Alabama.
