Spivey, Mildred I., age 85 passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 after a long illness. Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Spivey, her parents, one sister and three brothers. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, special friend, Phillip Edwards and her special little dog, “Sam”. During her long illness her nephews, Larry and Dinkey Hughes were her primary caregivers. Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Lenny Bolton officiating. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Serving as Pallbearers will be Tommy Hughes, Jerry Hughes, Mike Hughes, Bubba Hughes and Jerry Lanier.
