Milton Travis Allred, 89, of Montgomery, Alabama, crossed the bridge to be with his wife of 32 years Jimmie Lou Allred on Thursday, February 23, 2017.He is survived by his step-daughters, Jeanie Lowe and Marcia Morrione, 3 grandchildren Greg Parker (Stephanie), Joey Morrione, and Marcus Morrione, and 2 great grandchildren Shane and Sydney Parker, several nieces and nephews. Milton joined the Navy at the age of 16 and served his country for 8 years in World War II and the Korean War. He was also an employee of the Montgomery Advertiser where he retired after 35 years of service. He was also a Shriners Clown for many years. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, with family visitation starting at 12:00 till 1:00 and public viewing starting at 1:00 pm till 1:45 pm. With a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
