Milton Harris Mckinney

Milt was preceded in death by his parents; Clyde and Clyce McKinney and his brother, Clyde McKinney, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Donna McKinney. Other survivors include his children; Lynne Knickerbocker (Steve) of Clearwater, FL, Bill McKinney of Seminole, FL, Scott McKinney (Danene) of Cupertineo, CA and Bob McKinney (Beth) of Palm Harbor, FL. Also surviving Milt are his grandchildren; Bryon, Casey, Nick, Miles, Alec, Christine and Natalie.

Milt was an alumnus of the University of Alabama and worked as a metallurgical engineer with Alcoa for over thirty years. He served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division. Milt earned his pilot's license at an early age and he enjoyed working with Radio Control Airplanes as a hobby. He was known as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had a special love for his grandchildren and one of his children said Milt was the smartest man he ever met.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home. A crypt-side service will held Sunday, December 31,2017 at 2:00 pm at the Lakeview Mausoleum in Greenwood Cemetery.
