MyCala, affectionately known as Cala, Cala Bug, or Wada, always brought light into a dark room. Cala anticipated a hug from everyone; if she didn’t know someone, she would kindly introduce herself. She never met a stranger. Cala loved laughing, smiling, and singing Country songs off-key. She surpassed every challenge that life threw at her and prevailed. She was the true miracle baby to our family and one of the strongest, most brave little girls you could have ever met. She was her Daddy’s Baby, her Mama’s sidekick, and her Papaw’s heart. Cala just loved life; she loved movies, music, food, and Alabama football.
Cala is survived by her grandparents, Henry and Barbara Gibson, her oldest brothers, Mitch, Jodey, and Jason, her older sisters, Cate, Amanda, and Shay, her nieces and nephews, Boo-Boo, Bubba, Jed, Henry, Chloe Belle, Thaddeus, Ali, and Oaklynn. MyCala will be remembered as always listening to her Country music, eating her chicken wings, drinking her Diet Dr. Pepper, and loving on her family and friends any time she could. We love you to the moon and back, and we already miss you Cala Bug. The best gift Mama and Daddy ever gave us was YOU!
