On Tuesday, June 6, 2026, the Lord Jesus our Savior reached out and pulled Myla's hand through the gates of Heaven with the blessing of longevity and not being on any medication! Myla loved the Lord and tried living the life of a real Christian.
Her early education began at Whitehall #2 School. Later, she attended Loveless High School in Montgomery in 1941 and graduated in 1947. She later entered Alabama State University in 1948 where she received her BS degree. and later in 1971 she received her Master's degree. She was employed at Flowers Elementary where she worked until a traffic wreck caused her early retirement. Myla enjoyed singing for which she and her siblings were in singing groups. Myla was also a piano player for several churches in her pursuit of a Christian way of life. She was also a seamstress, and an avid gardener to boot!
Thank you our Lord Jesus Christ for giving her to us this long. Myla endured a lot of things through her life, but stayed true to her faith and was rewarded.
