Helms, Nancy Alice 71, a resident of Limestone County, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, in Athens Limestone Hospital. She is preceded in death by her father, William Tait Adams Sr. and her mother, Inez Janie Roebuck Adams. She is survived by her husband, Lexie Lynn Helms and her brother, William Tait Adams Jr. A graduate of Judson College, she retired from the Huntsville City School System. Funeral services will be held in Athens at Mc Connell Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2025 with the Rev. Toney Wales officiating. Visitation will be from 1230 PM to 2 PM with the funeral service to follow.
A graveside service will be held in Montgomery at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2025, with the Rev. Toney Wales officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM to 2 PM with the graveside service to follow in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd., Montgomery, AL 36109.
