Nellie Ruth Lucy Warr, age 77, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on October 4, 2013. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 2:00pm at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Highland Home with Scott Sexton officiating. Mrs. Warr was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Winston Warr, the love of her life. Nellie was a loving mother and devoted wife. She is survived by her eight children: Charles Kenneth Warr (Faye) of Highland Home, AL, Cheryl Brown (Ricky) of Wadsworth, AL, Sharon Rhodes (Earl) of Davenport, AL, Winston Warr (Linda) of Montgomery, AL, Darrell Warr (Glenda) of Montgomery, AL, Jeffrey Warr (Katrina) of Montgomery, AL, Kelli Warr of Birmingham, AL, and Amanda Warr of Birmingham, AL; eighteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wetumpka Health and Rehabilitation and Wetumpka Hospice.
