Owens, Nora Brunell, age 97, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Owens and all of her siblings. She is survived by a daughter, Nelda Carr; three grandchildren, Amy (Phil) Hinton, Allison (David) Haynes, Ashley (Joni) Carr; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jeremy and Ainsley Haynes; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Leak Memory Chapel from 10:00 until 11:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am in the chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Nephews will be serving as pall bearers.
