

Norman Amancil Hamilton, age 83, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 2, 2025. Born November 3, 1941 in Washington County, Tennessee to George W. and Carrie Carder Hamilton, Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 50+ years, Diane Parrish Hamilton; his sister, Joann H. Holly; his brothers, Berwyn L. "Dick" Hamilton, William E. Hamilton and Gordon D. Hamilton.
Norm is survived by his sister, Jaqueline H. Mullins (David); several nieces and nephews, including Lance Gould, who has lovingly administered Norm's personal and business affairs during this chapter of his life.
A devoted husband and supportive son in law, Norm cared deeply for Diane's parents, Bill and Fannie Parrish of Opp, Alabama.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years, stationed primarily in Anchorage, Alaska. His professional life was spent in Montgomery, AL working with an USAF colleague for All State Beverage until retirement. An avid bowler, Norm played on many local teams and traveled throughout the country for various tournaments. He will be remembered as a quite, humble man, treating family and friends with respect and kindness. A special niece said, "He was the good one."

A visitation for Norman will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Services will conclude with a graveside at 1:00 PM at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, 1018 Florala Highway, Opp, AL 36467.
