Oscar Leroy Campbell Jr.

Oscar Leroy Campbell Jr, 79, was called home to the Lord on January 19th, 2023 in his home surrounded by his wife and family. Leroy was the 4th of 10 children born to Oscar Leroy Campbell Sr. and Mary Evelyn Richards. He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, and pawpaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Leroy Campbell Sr. and Mary Evelyn Richards and his brother Charles Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie Campbell. His brothers and sisters, Wayne Campbell (Barbara), Larry Campbell, Carolyn Catalino, Sue Duffey, Bobby Campbell, Nan Alfrey (Richard), Sandra Shelton, and Ricky Campbell. His children, Steve Campbell (Jackie) and Christine Hunter. His grandchildren, Krystina Griffith (Joe) and Katie McDonald (Paul). His great-grandchildren, Masyn, Kynlee, and Addilyn; who he lovingly referred to as “Squirt”. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at White Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 25th. Visitation will be held at 1:00 with services to follow at 2:00. Graveside services will occur at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be RC Armstrong, Kenny Bowden, Jason Campbell, Joe Griffith, Paul McDonald, and Jay Shaw.
