Otis Doyle Springer

Otis Doyle Springer, Jr., passed away at his home Thursday, March 6, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Mary Callen McAndrews Springer; three sons, Robert D. Springer (Betty), William L. Springer (Paulette) and Dr. Kenneth W. Springer (Kathy); one daughter, Carrie L. Springer; grandchildren, Wendi Powell (John), Neah Mitchell, Jonathan Springer, Carrie Lynne Cook (Graham), Chase Springer (Charity), Shelly Springer, Kristen Connolly (Justin); great-grandchildren, Race Powell, Kenley Springer and Kade Springer; and several step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 9, 2014, 1:30pm at the University Church of Christ. A private burial will follow after the service. Pallbearers will be Ernest McArthur, Graham Cook, Brian Mitchell, Jonathan Springer, Justin Connelly and Cullen Donohue. Family and friends will gather for visitation at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday, March 8, 5-7 pm.
