While attending college he met and married Evelyn Devere MacCaskie, the love of his life. He joined the Air Force and was quickly assigned to Korea. Pat faithfully attended church and Sunday school at Frazer United Methodist Church where he served in the Lion Chaser men’s group, in the kitchen, and anywhere he was needed. He loved catching fish with young boys with the Frazer Fishing Mission in Lee Co.
For 27 years he rarely missed his interdenominational men’s Friday morning Bible study with Rev. Al Perkins.
He was active in the Central Alabama Emmaus community.
Pat never met a stranger, was the first to volunteer, and was always inventing, creating and repairing. He loved golf, Sudoku and crosswords.
