Patricia G. Harris

HARRIS, Mrs. Patricia “Pat”, a resident of Wetumpka, Al passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010. Patricia was born April 14, 1946 and was raised by her aunt Nora Lee Jones following her parents’ death. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Claude Harris, two sons, Dean (Nancy) Odle, Alan (Marsha) Odle, one daughter, Jennifer (Theron) Carman, one stepson, Jason (Jayme) Harris, one step-daughter, Anna Marie (Wesley) Champion, seven granddaughters, Caitlin, Bethany, Faith, Abigail, Caroline, Katlyn, Morgan, one grandson, Benjamin, one sister, Sandra (Chuck) Hendricks, two nieces, Shannon (Tim) Wilson, Karen Williams and one nephew, Todd Hendricks. She was a graduate of Beulah High School in 1964 and enjoyed class reunions with old friends. She lived her life with a concern for others. She also had a great love for animals and dedicated herself to helping them. She retired from Bellsouth after 25 years of service. Pallbearers will be Theron Carman, Jason Harris, Todd Hendricks, Robert Perryman, Tim Wilson, and Keith Clampit. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 PM from Greenwood Cemetery with her son, Pastor Alan Odle officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elmore County Humane Society. Family and friends will assemble at the gravesite.
