Patricia Jean Stroud

Pat Jean Garnto Stroud, age 77, of Montgomery, Alabama, peacefully transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 30, 2025. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Christina MacFarlane Garnto and Ralph Garnto.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments: her husband, Robert Charles Stroud; her daughter, Stacie Stroud Lee; her son, Mitchell Robert Stroud, and his wife, Diane Stroud; and her grandchildren, Christina Elizabeth Allday and husband Daniel Allday, Jessica Renee Lee, Michael Stroud, and Austin Stroud.

She is also survived by her brother, Donald Garnto, and his wife, Rose Garnto; grandchildren Brittany White and Tyler Knight in her heart. Pat was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Pat served the State of Alabama faithfully until her retirement and was a long-standing, devoted member of Frazer Church in Montgomery. Her faith, kindness, and steadfast love for her family and community were evident in all she did.

A woman of grace, strength, and enduring faith, Pat leaves a lasting legacy of love, devotion, and

service. Though she has entered her eternal rest, her memory will continue to live on in the

hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
