

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Campbell and Elsie Campbell; as well as past spouses, Marg Hollis and Marion Mercer. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Campbell; step daughters, Ailsa (Matsko) Deason and Katherin (Matsko) Soasa; granddaughters, Angelina D. Campbell and Daphne D. Wilson; 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
Patrick proudly served in the Army. He received the Soldiers Medal, Bronze Star Medal with V Device, Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal with V Device, Good Conduct Medal (1-5 Award), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, EOD Specialist Badge, Senior EOD Badge, Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm and Meritorious Unit Citaton.
Patrick moved from Oklahoma to Montgomery, AL after his first wife, Marion, passed away. He worked in Civil Service at Gunter Air Force Base. During his time here he met his second wife, Mary, at Frazer Church. They had a beautiful marriage for 22 years before Mary passed away. Patrick was still full of life and wanted another wife, Brenda (Barlow) Matsko. They met online on a dating site and were married in April, 2019.
Patrick loved to visit and spend time in Hawaii. He played Bridge at Community Center, Seduko, as well as masterfully played Chess. He loved to play chess but could never find someone to play on his level with him. He won Carey Chess Award in 1973. He attended Frazer Church and loved going to Sunday School and Spirit Night.
