Pearl Capouano Hasson, age 98, of Atlanta, GA passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Atlanta, GA, daughter of Morris and Esther Capouano. She grew up in Atlanta and in high school moved to Montgomery, AL where she resided until 2023.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Pinkie Hasson, her sister, Clara Berns and her brother Albert Capp.
She is survived by her brother Leon (Sylvia) Capouano of Montgomery, AL; daughters Sara Schreibman of Charlotte, NC; Diane (Fred) Shaftman of Atlanta, GA; and Janice (Craig) Kenmore of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Mark Schreibman, Philip Schreibman, Stephanie Shaftman, Emily Jones, Paige Grimaldi and 9 great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Pearl will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11:30 am at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
