Peggie P. Polke

Funeral service for Peggie P. Polke, 79, from Montgomery will be 2 PM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Teman Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel from 5-7 PM on Wednesday night. Ms. Polke passed away on March 23, 2015 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Survivors include daughters, Brenda Whaley and husband Bill Whaley of Goodyear, AZ, Pam O'Brien and Dr. Joseph O'Brien of Peachtree City, GA; sisters, Bettie Neal of Montgomery, Winnie Gardner of Ellicott City, MD and Barbara Haggerty of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law Joyce Adams of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren; David and Alycia Whaley of Lewisville, TX, Nichole and Spencer Martin of Peachtree City, GA, Christopher O'Brien of Peachtree City, GA, Jennifer Whaley of Carrollton, TX, Jonathan and Jessica Whaley of Ft. Mitchell, AL; four great-grandchildren; Austin and Justin Whaley of Lewisville, TX, and Aydon and Raelynn Whaley of Ft. Mitchell, AL.

Ms. Polke is preceded in death by her husband, David G. Polke.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, David Whaley, Christopher O'Brien, and Jonathan Whaley, and Spencer Martin, Nephews Gary Adams and Jeff Adams.
