Peggy Marie Deal

Peggy Marie Deal went to be with the Lord February 25, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 28, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Danny Bynum and Bruce Moulton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.Born April 4th 1932, Peggy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend of many. Peggy is pre-deceased by her loving companion and best friend Alanda "Sonny" Deal; parents Pearl and Lloyd Bynum; siblings Jack Bynum, James (Junior) Bynum, Bernice Motley, Nova Jean Bynum and Larry Bynum . She is survived by her sons Greg Deal (Susie) and Scott Deal (Lori), grandkids; Suzanne Allen (Brandon), Trent Deal, Alan Deal, and Alex Deal; Siblings Nell Adkins, Betty Hudson, JoAnn Bynum, Mavis Lolley, and Mazie Newsom. Known as "Memaw" to her grandkids, she loved nothing more than spending time with them. From trips to the parks to days at her swimming pool, she lived to see her grandkids happy. Peg loved her siblings and there was never a dull moment between them. There are so many fond memories and laughs shared with them. Peggy was a long time member of Eastdale Baptist Church where she served The Lord. Peggy was a member of the choir, took up money for meals, helped in the kitchen and served in any capacity she could. She was a selfless, God-fearing, loving Christian who would do anything for anybody. Peggy not only witnessed to others through her faith, but also through her occupation. She served the community by caring for and nurturing others as a nurse for 27 years. Peggy was a loyal friend to so many and could light up any room. Her legacy will live on through those who knew her and were blessed by her. Peggy always loved angels and now we have peace knowing she is our guardian angel.Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel Wednesday February 27, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
