Mrs. Peggy Joyce White

Peggy Joyce White, 75, formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013. Peggy was born in in Perry County, Mississippi and was a member of Thorington Road Baptist Church. She was a retired registered nurse with Jackson Hospital and Union Camp. Peggy loved her family and was a mother to many and an awesome southern cook. She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert White and daughter Donna White. She is survived by daughter: Diedra (Jeff) Grimsley, of Millbrook; Son: Alan (Leigh Ann) White, of Fitzpatrick, AL; grandchildren: Chad Bianchi, Brooke Carmichael, Jordan White, Hunter White, Scott Grimsley, Josh Grimsley; great granddaughter: Abby Carmichael. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12 noon. Pastor Charles Chamblee officiating. Pallbearers are Rayford Clark, Rickey White, Hunter White, Josh Grimsley, Scott Grimsley and Ty Carmichael. Honorary pallbearer is Chad Bianchi. The family wishes to thank the staff at Baptist Medical Center South, Health South, Noland Long Term Care and Rehab 1st for the care and love shown to Peggy.
