Gillespie, Perry C., age 81, died Sunday, August 7, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bessie Gillespie; son, Roger Gillespie of San Francisco, Ca; daughter, Wanda Fields of Montgomery, Al; grandchildren, Jennifer Fields of Montgomery, Al and Heather (Bill) Tinsley of Alabaster, Al; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Fields and Jeanne Tinsley; brother, Robert Gillespie (Alma) of Cincinnati, Oh and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 12, 2011 at 2:30pm with Reverend Michael Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
