Steve Jefferson, 51, loving husband, father, son, brother, and “PePaw,” passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Jefferson. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; father, Ralph Jefferson; sisters, Cindy (Harvey) McKim and Lisa Birchfield; sons, Blake Jefferson, Ryan Jackson, and Joey Papa; daughters, Jennifer Jackson, Krystina Papa, and Katlin Papa; grandchildren, Jacob, Arianna, Jaeden, Noah, Violet, and Autumn; and nephews, Cary Gainey and Justin (Amy) Gainey. He also leaves behind some special friends:
Danny, Pat, Rex, Bodie, Terry, Bradly, and Tammy. Steve was an excellent electrician with Rawlinson Electric for 34 years and was affectionately known as “Big Wire.” He loved R/C racing and cruising the river. Visitation will be Friday, March 6 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Eastmont Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama, with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve’s honor to the American Heart Association.
