

Randall "Randy" Joseph Smith, age 61, of Montgomery, Alabama, was received by the Lord on Sunday, February 27th, 2022. Randy was born in Centreville, Alabama, on February 16th, 1961, to Walter Joseph Smith and Ezma Wynelle Stokes.
On February 14th, 1986, he married the love of his life, Tammy Gilpin Smith. Together they had three beautiful children, daughter Hannah Nicole "Nikki", daughter Bonnie Rae, and son Joseph Dalton. He was a loving, devoted father and husband, always putting family first.
After graduating from Jefferson Davis High School in 1979, Randy attended AUM where he developed his entrepreneurial spirit and his love for his Auburn Tigers. He was an avid fan of all sports and was an all-star intramural athlete. He loved to
spend time with lifelong friends hitting the links, catching fins, and traveling to International waters, sparking the tall tales that are still legendary and
shared today.
Randy, also known as "Locksmith," was a well-respected businessman. He literally had keys to the city. He opened Action Locksmith Service, LLC, over 30 years ago and established a reputation of trust in the community which continues today. He had many dedicated employees whom he considered family. He was a faithful member of Woodland United Methodist Church where he served as the former
President of the Board of Trustees.
Randy was preceded in death by his loving wife Tammy, beautiful daughter Bonnie Rae, and best buddy Dalton. He is survived by his cherished daughter
Nikki; his sisters Pam Smith, Gina Bradford, Sandi Smith, and Jorene Smith; and brothers Mike Freeman and Richard Norton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends who he only knew as family. Randy was beloved by everyone who ever met him, a fantastic father, a great husband, and a best friend to all. He was known for his big smile, mischievous nature, and outgoing friendly personality. No matter the circumstance, you would always leave with a funny story and a smile on your face. He was kind and generous. He loved life. He loved people. He loved BIG!
Visitation will be held at Frazer Church on Saturday, March 5, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by his Life Celebration Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wilson Ray Hodges, Rex Gransen Smith, Jay Bradford Ruud, Hunter Wyatt, Matthew Wyatt, Miller Clemmons, Andrew Wixon, Justin Perdue and Zac Russell.
