Rebecca Renner O'Connell

Rebecca Renner Williams O'Connell, passed away February 15, 2018 at the age of 68 , after loosing her battle with colon cancer. She was born in Bethesda, Maryland, and grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and later moved to Montgomery , Alabama where she lived and raised her children.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Leak Memory Chapel from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with funeral starting at 11:00 in the chapel and graveside to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Rebecca was the daughter of the late Colonel Joseph Neil Renner and the late Willodean Wilson Renner.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Renner. She is survived by one daughter, Laura Williams Ellis (Jeff); and one son, Ryan Bishop Williams (Valorie); five grandchildren, Emilee, Sara Grace, and Elizabeth Ellis of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Jonah and John Morgan Williams of Montgomery, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Blackwell, Christopher Pierce, Jonathan Cox, Carlton Hall, Travis Searight and Todd Sweeney, honorary pallbearers will be employees of MR Pool.

Rebecca fought a long and courageous four year battle with colon cancer. We would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, caregivers, and friends, who took great care of her, and forever touched our lives. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center.
