Richard R Brienza

Richard Roxie Brienza, 86, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama. Born on July 28, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, he lived a full and meaningful life marked by devotion to family and faith.

Richard was the beloved husband of Barbara Rooney Brienza. Together they built a life rooted in love and shared values. He was a devoted father to Marlin Shane Brienza, Myron Shannon Brienza, and Monica ShelLee Swain. He also cherished the memory of his son Matthew Sean Brienza, who preceded him in death.

He is remembered with love by his sisters Gina Fiorella, Priscilla McDermott, Roxie Lee Mobley, and Ellen Marie Dunlap. Richard’s legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

May Richard’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him. A Visitation will be held on May 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Vaughn Road. Followed by a Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Burial at St Margaret cemetery (Oakwood).
